Thank You Parents And Helpers.

Dear Parents and helpers

Thank you's for coming to our school picnic. Your help was really important. Without you we would have not gone to the picnic. Thank you for keeping an eye on us during swimming and sports. I also thank you for looking after our equipment.

When theres a picnic, the whole school have to go to the hall for an assembly. We do this every year, so that the teachers can see how many helpers we have for each class. Mr Burt will said some rules before we go down to have the picnic. Teachers will check to see if kids have sun hats to wear down at the beach.

My favourite part of the picnic, when i was swimming with my friends. I like to hang with my friend because it my last year at Point England School and i want it to be the best picnic ever with my friends.

In Summer it’s really hot, so it’s a good idea to go to the beach. Just pack some equipment that you need to be safe, and have fun at the beach. When you get at the beach it’s really important to put on sunscreen before you can go for a cool and relaxing swim. The teenagers like to wait for the tide to come in, so they might play a little game of volley on the sand. Kids might want to making sandcastles. Adults might want to relax under the trees wearing their sun hats, and having a little nap. Some people get’s frustrated because it’s too hot or irritated because the kids won't listen.

Once the tide was in, every one will ran into the sea to swim and splash with joy. At the end of the day, some people will like to buy ice blocks to end the day.

      

Assembly

On Friday 14th of February, we had an assembly in the hall. We all lined up in our lines and sat down in the hall waiting for other class’s to come. Than Mr Burt told the whole school to sing ‘ I Love You’ to the people beside them, because it was valentines times day. Than we started the day with the karakia and miha. Mr Burt talked to the whole school about ‘ Is it kind’ and Mr Burt said the new korero for this team. Put yourself in someones shoe.

What does Empathy means to me?

        What does Empathy means to me?

To me empathy means, you can understand how a person is feeling. Like someone fell and they say it hurts so bad, then you felt worried about them. They share their emotions with you and you can imagined how that person is feeling by understanding and listening.

                                                     

Another reason what does empathy means is looking out for each other anywhere at all times. Empathy is like two twins having the same feelings or emotion together. Empathy is really important. If i’m sad then You're sad. If i'm Happy then you're happy.
